The SIMODUAL² double-containment piping system is your reliable shield when transporting highly aggressive chemicals. Thanks to the combination of a durable inner pipe and a robust outer pipe, it ensures maximum safety - even in the event of a leak. SIMONA’s long-lasting plastics ensure a long service life and guarantee pressure resistance, chemical resistance, and environmental protection.

Maximum safety for people and the environment - thanks to the chemical resistance of the media-carrying inner pipe made of PE 100, PP-H AlphaPlus, or PVDF, as well as the fully pressure-rated outer pipe made of PE 100.
Minimal risk in the event of a leak
Integrated sensors continuously monitor the entire annular space. Leaks are detected and immediately reported - enabling rapid response and maximum protection.
Simple design and installation
Factory-integrated anchor points minimize planning and welding effort. The secure and verifiable connection of the inner pipe is achieved using HS or IR welding methods, or alternatively by heating coil welding of the outer pipe.
Safe operation
The anchor points prevent the inner pipe from shifting, even during pressure and temperature fluctuations.
SIMONA® PP-H AlphaPlus®
SIMONA® PP-H AlphaPlus® is an alpha-nucleated polypropylene (PP-H) with a fine grain structure and stable crystallite structure. The material offers increased notched impact strength combined with improved stiffness and very good chemical resistance. This makes it suitable for demanding applications in container and apparatus construction as well as in piping systems in the chemical industry - even at elevated temperatures.

SIMONA® Cross-ribbed Twin-Wall Sheet
SIMONA® Twin-Wall Sheets - the efficient solution for lightweight yet extremely stable structures. These sheets are manufactured using state-of-the-art technology from materials such as PE 100, PE 100 UV white, PP-C, or PPs, and combine an isotropic stiffening structure with outstanding material properties. The result: high rigidity with significantly reduced weight, enabling reliable performance across a wide range of industrial applications.

The safe handling of media such as sulfuric acid (H₂SO₄), hydrochloric acid (HCl), nitric acid (HNO₃), hydrofluoric acid (HF), or caustic soda requires the highest level of safety and corrosion resistance. For every individual application, SIMONA offers the optimal solution from a broad portfolio of thermoplastic materials for tanks and piping - from PP to PVDF to PFA - each combined with the appropriate bonding layer to ensure a permanently reliable mechanical bond between the liner and the core material.
